We are all looking forward to a wonderful week’s skiing in the resort of Santa Caterina!
Some important reminders:
* We will be departing MTGS at 02:00am on Sunday 14th February
* Please have your Passport and EHIC card in your hand-luggage ready to give to a member of staff BEFORE you board the coach at MTGS
* If you have stated that you are bringing your own ski helmet etc. then make sure that this is packed in your main holdall. You need to ensure that you have a pair of ski socks in your hand luggage as we will be going to the ski fit shop immediately on arrival in the resort
* Make sure that you have your required medication in your hand luggage e.g. inhalers etc. There should also be spare medication in your main holdall. If you need to take Travel Sickness medication, please do so in plenty of time prior to departure
* Ensure that all toiletries e.g. deodorant / toothpaste etc are placed in a clear plastic bag ready for Airport Security Checks – we do not want to be delayed
* Ensure that you have 10 Euros in your purse - this will be collected on the coach en-route to Heathrow. This is for your ski fit tie and ski pass deposit. This is refundable at the end of the week (as long as you do not lose the items!). Also have some change in Euros e.g. the service stations require at least 70 cents for the use of the toilets
* Please wear your hoodie for travelling and make sure that you are wearing comfortable clothes and suitable footwear (there may be snow/ice on the ground in the resort)
* Do bring snacks and water for the journey. However, we do not advise that you consume sweets etc! Remember that you must discard all liquids prior to Airport Security Check.
* It will be a very long day on Sunday – travelling and then ski fit on arrival in the resort. We therefore need you to be vigilant and concentrate fully on all instructions given. We therefore advise that you get some sleep on the coach and on the plane!
